We’re looking for a junior front-end developer to join our web team in Khartoum North, Sudan. This role offers a hybrid work model, allowing you to combine in-office collaboration with flexible remote days. You’ll help build modern, responsive interfaces for startups and small businesses using React, React Native, Next.js, and clean reusable CSS components.
Implement responsive UI designs in React / Next.js
Collaborate with designers and project managers to translate Figma mockups or project descriptions into code
Work closely with backend engineers to integrate REST APIs
Participate in weekly sprints and contribute to planning sessions
Maintain code clarity, accessibility, and performance
Strong knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript fundamentals
Some experience with React, React Native, Next.js, or similar frameworks
Understanding of Git and version control
Fluency in English and Arabic (reading, writing, and communication)
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Familiarity with project management tools (e.g., Trello, Asana, or Jira)
Ability to use AI-assisted development tools (e.g., ChatGPT prompts, Claude, Cursor, Copilot) to enhance productivity, research solutions, and document workflows
Basic knowledge of Django or API integration
Awareness of accessibility (WCAG) and responsive design principles
Interest in UI/UX design or component systems (Tailwind / Styled Components)
